This is one of the best malls in Bangalore. It has lot of outlets, good food court, a pub, some restaurants and some scary walkways. It’s one of the first places that you should go if you stay near MG road.
Forum Mall
This was the place where I first landed as I reached Bangalore. It’s too crowded on weekendsL. But it has a good food court and a PVR. Its home for people in Kormangala.
Oasis Mall
Good shopping place and has SPAR. Great help for people in Kormangala.
UBcity Mall
It has all high end brands, terrific interior, open theater and posh restaurants. Totally classy and a must go mall.
Brigade road and Commercial Street.
Not a mall but a nice shopping area. It’s damn crowded and has a lot of branded plus local shopping outlet. Do have a walk down the brigade road…else your Bangalore trip is incomplete.
PUBS !!!
Sky Lounge ( expensive ) + UBcity Mall
Awsmmmmmmmm!!!! . Open terrace pub on 16th floor…U can see the entire city and UB tower. Dress up for this place because it has the best crowd possible. A MUST VISIT PLACE.
13th Floor
Book a table in outdoor area beforehand. Tasty food and amazing view from 13th floor. If you want to take someone out for dinner…it’s the best place.
Athena
Leela’s Dance Floor is the Best in Bangalore. With a couple entry of 1K…it’s really cheap for what you get in return. Don’t forget to dress up for some shaky moves and music.
Hint
All the ladies…visit Hint on a FridayJ. Free Drinks and Food…sexy dance floor.
Negatives: too crowded on Fridays!! But if you want to party for free...this is the place to go.
Zero G
Amazing ambience…not that crowded and good DJ. If you want to party in large group…Zero G has enough space. Saturday is ladies ni8 J
Purple Haze
One of my favorite pubs in Bangalore. With good rock music, this is the place for a Tower and peanut Masala. Crowd is amazing and everyone will be out of their seats in the end.
Legends of the Rock
If you are bored of going to purple haze/ u want to talk while u drink: P ...u can go to LOR in Kormangala.
Sufi
Best Hukka Place in entire Bangalore. It has Rajasthani style macha’s and is unofficially open till 1 pm.
Toit, Extreme Sports Bar, Cirrus, Jimi's Beer Cafe
These are places to go in Indira Nagar. Since I visited all of them on the same day…don’t remember specifics now: P.

My favorite any time you can go pub in Bangalore. It’s cheap, has goodie goodie music and sexy Hukka :D
Le Rock and Peco’s
These two pubs are located on Brigade Road. Le Rock has a Beer meter to check who had the most. It brings out a competitive spirit and u enjoy a lot.
Peco’s is a very old pub. It has diverse crowd and gives a happy good feeling.
Tavern at the Inn
Wow place. Classy English Pub with total firang crowd: P
The Biere Club
\m/ place for BEER fans. You get freshly brewed Beer. Choose between 3 varieties (stout is best)

A dark and cozy pub… Your table can be a boat…swings or on water :D
One of my most visited pubs in blore. Karaoke nights are really good and they have tasty Mojito.
HRC
Visit on Thursday for Live music, tasty nachos and 10 pound (6 pound if u are veggie) burger.
Interior is something to look out for. Just too good J

Tasty Punjabi /Mughlai/ India food and Indian/ early bollywood ambience.
99 DOSA
If you are curious to know the menu…just ask the woman at the thela or checkout the you tube video. You cannot get such varieties of Dosa’s anywhere in the country. It’s again a Must visit place.
SAMARKAND
Changezi Chai is the reason to visit this place. Tasty Mughlai food and a strong cocktail makes this place memorable.

Tasty Rolls and a cheap dining option.
YANA SIZZLERS, KOBE SIZZLER
Have best sizzlers in Bangalore.
MATTEO
I f you want to work at some peaceful café on a weekend, no place is better than Matteo.
Sit for hours; enjoy your coffee and pasta. They have a good menu so that you can hog and work simultaneously.

Cheap buffet for people who want a break from their office Café (ORR region)
TREKS
IRPU FALLS AND BRAMHAGIRI MOUNTAINS
If someone advices you to go to Coorg, shut them up!! You have a way better place to go.
Irpu falls is some 60km from Coorg. Trek in the forest full of leeches and take bath in the chilled waterfall. Visit Coorg the next day and go to Golden temple on your way back to Bangalore.
MYSORE
Long drives around mysore is something you shouldn’t miss out. Visit the 100 km far away CCD at ni8, Kaveri basin, Tipu palace, River rafting, Rock climbing etc. Also stop by Ramgiri Hills on the way back. A small trek and beautiful view from the top.
NAANDI HILL
Cliché place which everyone visits. Please go on Bike to enjoy the most. The drive is best part of the trip.
SKANDGIRI
1.5 hour trek and amazing view from the top. Please take a guide and go along the trail, else you would end up climbing rocks aimlessly!!
HOGENAKKAL FALLS
Enjoy a boat ride and amazing view of the falls. If you are lucky, you would see a rainbow: D.
Play in the still waters…You would be on the border of Karnataka and Tamilnadu…so keep switching: P
SHIVSAMUDRA FALLS
Amazing falls around 140 Km from Bangalore. The way is just beautiful. To enjoy more, trek towards the upper part of the falls and enjoy the cold and strong water stream flowing across your body.
GREEN ROUTE TREK
One of the best treks I made around Bangalore. Enjoy the thrill of walking along the railway track, bridges, and tunnels. Watch the train passing by (Please jump aside as soon as you listen the siren or feel the vibrations: P). Get down from the highest bridge to get wet in the chilled water stream. Have tea at the Yedakumari Railway station and trek for 5km in forest to reach the large water stream. Walk on the stones and cross it to finally complete the trek: D
Besides this, Rasta Cafe is 24*7 open. Rex is best theater with cheap tickets and an "Interactive" Crowd.
Go Karting track is decent. Amoeba and Bangalore Central on ORR have Bowling.
